Supporting Women’s Choice: NSW Women’s Centres & Clinic 66 Collaboration
Access to Surgical Abortion Funded for Eligible Women
We’re proud to announce a new partnership between NSW Women’s Centres and Clinic 66, designed to make surgical abortion care more accessible and affordable for women across New South Wales.
Through this collaboration, eligible women can now access fully funded or subsidised surgical abortion services at Clinic 66, a leading specialist reproductive health clinic based in Sydney. Nowsis, the Not for Profit arm of Clinic 66 is proud to manage this important collaboration.
Breaking Down Barriers to Care
We know that financial barriers can delay or prevent access to timely reproductive healthcare. By working together, NSW Women’s Centres and Clinic 66 aim to ensure that no woman is denied essential healthcare due to cost or circumstance.
The funding covers surgical abortion procedures provided at Clinic 66, including pre- and post-procedure care. Women can be referred through participating Women’s Centres, where compassionate, confidential support is available. Not only will Clinic 66 provide the abortion but insert a Long Acting Reversible Contraceptive ( LARC) of choice for each person who attends.

Who is eligible?
Funding is available for women in NSW who are experiencing financial hardship or other vulnerabilities, as assessed by their local NSW Women’s Centre.

Where is care provided?
All surgical abortion procedures and LARC insertion are performed at Clinic 66, located in Chatswood, Sydney. Our team of doctors, nurses, and counsellors are highly experienced in providing respectful, patient-centred reproductive healthcare.

How to access the service:

Contact your nearest NSW Women’s Centre for assessment and referral.

Once approved, an appointment will be arranged at Clinic 66 in Chatswood NSW.

Transport and support options may also be available through your Women’s Centre.
